Onboard the Wally 45

The Wally 45 keeps the low, planing hull and clean deck lines that the yard is known for, built more for speed and open air than for stacked accommodation. At 13 metres she reads as compact and quick rather than imposing, with a cockpit and foredeck that stay uncluttered even with ten guests aboard, so there is always room to move, sit apart, or gather around the helm as the coastline changes.

From Port Olímpic she is well suited to the run south to Sitges: about 35 kilometres of open water, a stop to swim off the boat once clear of the harbour traffic, then a slower approach into the sheltered bay for lunch ashore before heading back. Her speed also makes a shorter run realistic on days when guests want fewer hours on the water and more time on land.

This is a day boat rather than a yacht for cabins and overnight stays, which makes her a straightforward fit for couples, small families, or a tight group of friends who want a fast, uncomplicated few hours on the water rather than a full multi-day plan. Because she is quick to prepare and easy to schedule around the tide of Barcelona's summer bookings, she also works well for last-minute requests when a larger, more heavily booked yacht is not available.
