A typical outing leaves Port Olímpic mid-morning and runs down the coast toward Sitges, around 35 kilometres south, where the bay gives calmer water than Barcelona's open roadstead for anchoring and swimming ahead of lunch ashore at one of the seafront restaurants. The run back in the afternoon, with the Tramontane breeze building through the summer months, is where the Wajer 55 gets to show what the hull can do rather than simply cover the distance.

The single-cabin layout makes this a boat for the day, not the week: a group of friends marking a birthday, a couple wanting the coastline without anything formal around them, or a small work group after a few relaxed hours on the water instead of another meeting room. With 12 as the practical guest limit, the day works best when the plan - swim stop, lunch reservation, or a straight run along the coast - is settled before departure, since a boat built for daytime use rewards a clear plan more than a loose one.
