At 13 metres, Solaris 44 sits at a size where a private day out still feels personal rather than crowded. Below deck, two cabins give eight guests somewhere to change or rest out of the sun, while the open cockpit and foredeck leave enough space to spread across sunbeds and stern seating without anyone feeling boxed in.

This is a boat built for the shorter run south to Sitges: 35 kilometres from Port Olímpic, with the option to anchor off the bay, which sits more sheltered in northerly winds than Barcelona's own roadstead, or continue on to Vilanova. A swim, a few hours in the water, lunch at one of the seafront restaurants ashore, and the return leg by late afternoon — a five to seven hour day that suits the boat's size and range without pushing it into multi-day territory.

It works well for close friends, couples, or a small family group who want their own boat rather than a shared excursion. Departures run from Port Olímpic, where the skipper manages the exit through what is a genuinely busy commercial harbour, and the day-boat format leaves room to plan later than a full multi-day booking would allow, particularly outside the peak summer weeks.
