The Cranchi A46 is a 14-metre walkaround, built so guests can move around the boat rather than stay fixed in one seating area. The deck runs unbroken from bow to stern, letting people step forward past the windshield or aft to the cockpit without cutting through the cabin below, where two cabins give the group somewhere to retreat from the sun or stow bags out of the way. Cruising at close to 34 knots, the run out of Port Olímpic is quick rather than leisurely, which matters on a day boat where time on the water counts more than time getting there.
A day out to Sitges plays to the boat's strengths. The run south from Port Olímpic covers roughly 35 kilometres, short enough that guests are anchored off the bay for a swim within the hour rather than still finding their footing. The A46's speed leaves room to continue on to Vilanova if the group wants a change of scene, or to head straight for a seafront lunch table, all within a five to seven hour day. The open walkaround deck earns its keep here — moving between the swim platform and the bow doesn't mean squeezing past seated guests.
Ten guests is the realistic limit on board, and the two cabins mean the A46 works for a family day out as easily as it does for a smaller group who want somewhere private to change or sit out of the wind during the crossing. It's chartered as a day boat rather than a multi-day yacht, booked for single outings — a Sitges run, a loop around the bay, a short hop north along the Maresme coast — rather than overnight passages. Its size and pace also make it a sensible choice when a larger crewed yacht is already committed and a group still wants to get out on the water at short notice.
