The Axopar 37 is built for speed and open air rather than for lounging at anchor: an 11.5-metre hull with a wide, uncluttered deck, forward and aft seating for up to ten guests, and a single cabin below that works as shade, a change space, or somewhere to stow bags and coolers rather than a place to sleep aboard.
From Port Olímpic it covers ground quickly — the run south to Sitges, roughly 35 kilometres, is well within a single afternoon, with a stop to swim off the bay or push on into Vilanova marina before lunch ashore at one of the seafront restaurants. Leaving the harbour means sharing the channel with ferry and commercial traffic, so the skipper handles the entry and exit while guests settle in on the open deck.
It suits a tighter group better than a large party boat: ten guests max, one cabin, no formal dining saloon, which makes it a natural fit for a family with older children wanting a swim day, or a small circle of friends who want to move fast along the coast rather than sit still. Because it is a day boat rather than a multi-day cruiser, booking it tends to be simpler — a single afternoon or full day, agreed and confirmed without the provisioning and customs planning that a longer passage would need.
